Aside from the physical style, hearing aids differ from each other on the inside.
The type of amplifier, or circuit, determines how the hearing aid will amplify the
sounds around you.
To prevent amplified sounds from becoming too loud, all hearing aid circuits use a
technology called output limiting. The links on the left describe the currently available
