Definitions and Notes
- Battery Life Estimates are based on 12 to 15 hours of use per day.
- T-Coil is a magnetic receiver that picks up signals from magnetic
sources such as hearing aid compatible phones and neck loops.
- Direct Audio Input allows external audio sources (TV, tape recorders,
ALD's) to be directly connected to the hearing aid with a wire.
- CROS/BiCROS places a microphone on a non-functional ear and sends the
signal to the other ear with a wire.
- Instrument Life Estimates assume regular
preventive maintenance. It is expected that within that period of time your hearing
aid may need a minor repair such as a new microphone, receiver or switch. Patients living
in very humid environments may require more frequent repairs.
